Membership
Membership in OHM Calgary is open to individuals who support the objectives of the organization and are willing to abide by its Bylaw and Constitution. Members have the right to participate in OHM’s activities, attend meetings, and vote in elections.
Governing Body
OHM Calgary is governed by a Board of Directors,a.k.a Executive Committee, elected by the general membership. The Board is responsible for overseeing the organization’s activities, managing its finances, and ensuring compliance with its Bylaw and Constitution.
Meetings
OHM Calgary holds regular meetings to discuss organizational matters, plan events, and address member concerns. General meetings are open to all members, while Board meetings are limited to Board members and invited guests.
Amendments
Changes to the Bylaw and Constitution may be proposed by any member and must be approved by a two-thirds majority vote of the general membership in attendance at the AGM or at a meeting that was convened to pass a special resolution. Amendments are intended to reflect the evolving needs and aspirations of the organization.
