Societal Support commitments

In 2024, OHM Calgary reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to social responsibility and community welfare by actively supporting critical causes both locally and internationally. Recognizing the devastating impact of the Wayanad landslide in Kerala, India, OHM Calgary responded with compassion by directing disaster relief funds, to the amount of $3501.00, to support affected families, showcasing solidarity with our ancestral homeland.

Locally, OHM Calgary continues its mission to alleviate hunger by donating $500 each to the Calgary Food Bank and the Calgary Drop-In Centre. These contributions reflect our unwavering dedication to addressing food insecurity and supporting vulnerable populations within the Calgary community. Through these acts of generosity, OHM Calgary strengthens its role as a responsible and compassionate community organization, ever mindful of the broader impact we can have beyond cultural and spiritual activities.
